Dr. Yu was raised in Calgary, Canada and attended the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, where she obtained a degree in Microbiology and Immunology. Inspired by her mother who is a dentist herself, she also decided to pursue dentistry and was accepted into the prestigious Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California.
Since graduating in 2017, she's worked hand-in-hand with a diverse background of patients to achieve healthy smiles. As a life-long learner, Dr. Yu has put in over 300 hours of Continuing Education classes since graduation in topics including implant dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Yu's treatment approach emphasizes prevention, comfort, and exceeding the expectations of each of her patients.
Outside of the practice, Dr. Yu enjoys yoga, trying new restaurants, and hiking with her Samoyed named Hiro.
